Once again I am truly saddened to share this story but I do not want her death to be in vain. This woman deserves justice. I am referring to Sandra Bland.  Sandra Bland was found dead in her cell at the Waller County Jail in Houston, Texas, just days after she was detained by police during a routine traffic stop for assaulting a public servant. She was arrested on July 10, 2015. The arresting officer was just found to have violated his departments' procedures.

Three days later on July 13, 2015, around 9 a.m., before her family could bail her out, Bland was found dead inside her jail cell. Police claim she died from "self-inflicted asphyxiation." Family and friends say this is impossible; that the brutality and had just gotten a new job, would never have committed suicide. Although there has been reports she was enduring depression. A video of the arrest was obtained and released by ABC 7. In the video she does not  appear to be combative towards officers. She was slammed to the ground by the officers placed their legs on top of her head.

Toni's Thoughts: This breaks my heart. As usual some forms of the media are attempting to justify her death by attacking  her character.
