Introducing Kameron Corvet







The son of an  attorney from the south and a musically inclined mother from the north. Kameron Corvet was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio by the way of Baton. Rouge, Louisiana. He came from a musical family, performed in church as well as school talent shows. Kameron developed his craft when his parents purchased an acoustic guitar for him in high school. He began to create melodies and song lyrics. Kameron attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia while studying French, joining Kappa Alpha Psi, he performed at various open mics and networked to enhance his music career.





Ten years ago in 2006, he released his first independent album entitled "Sayingthings." Following the release of his debut album he has gone to release critically acclaimed  EP's and albums such as "Fuck Love," and his 2014 album Darker Than Gray. He has also established himself as a legitimate songwriter, he has collaborated with prominent artists such as Freddie Jackson, Angie Stone, Case, and Avery Sunshine. He has toured and served as opening act for Adele, Marsha Ambrosius, Bilal, Dwele, and Tamia.

Toni's Thoughts: I stumbled upon his latest single "Leave It Like That" while watching Vh1 Soul which has now become BET Soul. It is a smooth track and he does an excellent job putting his spin on the 1980s classic song "Don't Disturb This Groove" by The System.
